Your Baby’s Play Area!
P2B calls this… “Disneyland on ice!”
This type of play area is incredibly common — and created with the best intentions. But sometimes there is just too much going on for a little one at any age.
If your play space looks like this, consider gently simplifying it. An overload of toys and stimulation can leave babies feeling overwhelmed, leading them to jump quickly from one thing to the next without really engaging.
✨ Sometimes less really is more.
Try reducing the space to just one or two toys at a time.
Babies are born ready to explore movement. Play is one of the main ways they learn about their bodies and the world around them.
Play might look simple — but it has a powerful purpose:
• Reaching for a toy teaches babies they can control their arms
• Kicking and wriggling helps them understand how their body moves
• Exploring objects supports both gross and fine motor development
When the environment is calmer and less busy, little ones often focus longer, move more freely and learn more through play.
A simple space… for big learning
