Welcome to Parents 2B. My name is Michelle Jackson and I am a Registered Midwife, Registered Nurse, Childbirth Educator and Infant Sleep Coach.

The choices parents make in raising their children are broad and diverse.

The personal biases of a midwife should not dictate the advice and support provided to families in our care.

I do not prescribe one method of parenting.

I support families and their individual circumstances, integrating the best evidence based solutions with clinical expertise driving informed family choice.

Antenatal Classes

Parents 2B classes cover all aspects of pregnancy including labour and delivery, pain relief options, possible interventions, cesarean sections, breastfeeding and early parenting and settling/routines.

Private Classes
Not everyone has the time to attend large groups of childbirth classes over 4-6 weeks. Parents 2B therefore offers a unique service of providing private, practical, unbiased, evidence based and personalised antenatal education.
Bringing your baby home
This class is best done before your nursery set up &/or baby shower. This class generally pays for itself with money saved from inappropriate purchases.

BREAST FEEDING

Breast feeding

Just because you have had a baby, breast feeding doesn’t come easily. Parents 2 B will help you overcome the fears of learning this new skill, and be with you as you and your baby perfect this important bond.

Although natural and best for our babies – breastfeeding doesn’t always come easy. Breastfeeding is a learned skill by both parties: – mum & baby. It takes time, patience and plenty of practice. It is essential to have the support of family and friends.
